Zendaya and Val had a successful debut on Dancing With the Stars. Val couldn’t believe how naturally talented Zendaya was, nor could he get over how mature she was for her age. Sure, she was goofy - but that’s exactly the kind of person he needed to be around. His older brother Maks was always telling him how he takes things too seriously and needs to lighten up - maybe Zendaya could help him do that.
Her smile was so infectious, he couldn’t help but smile all the time when he was around her. Oh man and the sound of her laugh…

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Maks barreling through the door of their apartment.

“Bro! We need to talk, NOW!”

“What’s up?” Val replied inquisitively, his tone sounded serious.

“So I just watched the season premiere at Ma’s house…”

“Oh cool, what’d you think of-” Val began but was cut off.

“Bro…THAT’S Zendaya!? THAT’S your 16-year-old, teeny bopper Disney star partner!?” Maks asked incredulously.

“Yea…that’s her. What’s your deal?”

“My deal is that she’s gorgeous man! And she’s jail bait! Aren’t you the least bit worried about keeping things…age appropriate..if you know what I’m mean?” Maks tipped his chin up with a sly smirk on his face, clearly amused with himself.

Val was starting to get pissed. “What is wrong with you? First of all, I’m a professional. Unlike you, I know how to keep it in my pants and not bang every one of my partners. Second of all, you don’t even know her…and third, I’m not some creepy cradle robber! I don’t know why people feel like they have to keep reminding me of her age like I don’t know it already!” Val noticed his voice was starting to get loud.

“Chill bro, I just wanted to check in with you and see that shit was all good. I wouldn’t want to see my baby bro get hurt…or arrested! I just suggest you tread lightly, thats all.” Maks busted out laughing and pulled his brother in for a noogie.

“Yea, good one” said Val flatly, he was less amused.

Val was so angry. How could his brother even accuse him of such a thing…I mean really? C’mon who does he think he is? What is his problem?

Wait, why am I getting so upset over this? Val thought to himself. Maks was just doing his usual brotherly ball busting.
But it hit a nerve this time…maybe because deep down Val knew that Maks was right. Zendaya is gorgeous, and he should be conscious of his behavior around her. Because ever since they first met, he hasn’t stopped thinking about her…
